Manuel is preparing his next show, a musical about making a musical show. He seeks the help of Sara his ex-wife and renowned choreographer to direct. In the casting, the young Ines will appear as a rising star while dealing with her father and local mob. During the rehearsals, the passion and tension will grow among the dancers. Powerful Mexican music sets the tone and a play will emerge in which tragedy, fiction and reality intertwine.

Unhappy in her marriage, expectant mother Rose (Dana Delany) flees to a home for unwed mothers in rural Tennessee in this adaptation of Ann Patchett's novel. When she stays on after her baby is born, Rose becomes friends with an elderly nun (Sada Thompson) and begins a relationship with the local handyman, Son (Clancy Brown). Everything seems fine until Rose's first husband tracks her down and she's forced to relive her troubled past.

Zac is a well-respected French filmmaker who creates a major uproar when for no apparent reason he suddenly vanishes from his posh Parisian apartment leaving behind his lover Helene, a popular star. Marcus, his producer searches for eight months before locating Zac who has since become a homeless street bum in an expensive neighborhood. Marcus sends Zac to a posh hotel. He then sends Daisy, an ambitious secretary and aspiring screenwriter to learn what happened to the great director. It takes a lot of mutual verbal sparring and false turns (which are presented as creatively filmed vignettes that are done using a variety of techniques) from Zac before he finally tells her the truth. The two then decide to turn the story into a film. As they write, Daisy and Zac slowly fall in love. At the same time, Marcus has his hands full trying to avoid some tough Russian Mafiosos who want the money they invested back.

Repurposing the video game Sleeping Dogs (2012), IN THE LONG RUN//WE ARE ALL DEAD is a single-take experimental machinima that unfolds within the rain-soaked, neon-lit streets of a virtual Hong Kong. Operating within the aesthetics of neo-noir, the work constructs a relentless pursuit—an enigmatic chase where the identities of both the pursuer and the pursued remain ambiguous. Sirens wail, bullets ricochet, and rain distorts the cityscape, reinforcing the sense of perpetual movement and existential uncertainty. Who is the runner? What is the nature of their escape? Is there an endpoint, or is the pursuit itself the defining condition of this digital existence? Offering no resolution, the machinima foregrounds the mechanics of pursuit as a metaphor for the relentless temporality of virtual worlds and the cyclical nature of digital violence.

The show featured children's book author Tomie dePaola and his Muppet friend Gabe the squirrel, encouraging children to make their own stories in a variety of media. In each episode, Tomie told a story featuring his storybook characters Strega Nona, Big Anthony and Bambolona. Gabe visited The Animal Band, a group of woodland creatures, including a rabbit on drums, a weasel on guitar, a penguin on bass, and a raccoon on keytar. Each episode also featured a visit with a guest storyteller or two (often people connected to the Jim Henson Company). The final segment of each episode included a child actor playing Tomie enacting stories from his book "26 Fairmount Avenue."
